Not much here right now. I use AfterStep as my desktop manager. I don't understand this whole Windows-lookalike race in X desktops.... personally I did not get away from Windows just to look at the same desktop.

I'll include some configuration information in a bit. I just upgraded from version 1.5 to 1.6, so there is no more .steprc file, but all customization is done through looks and feels.

Update: I just got myself a 17" monitor, and therefor did a complete reconstruction of my desktop. I'm now using the (it was top of the line when I installed it, not anymore) AS 1.7.126

I guess I should write up a small page on how to do customization. I got time now. I will also be posting a theme that I will make out of my desktop on as.themes.org page...see if people like it.
